I'm getting our paperwork together to do our income taxes for 2007 (which, by the way, was not the year that members of our family were hospitalized for months, that was 2006).
TOTAL COST IN MEDS: $1500
OTHER MEDICAL COSTS(DOC VISITS, LAB, ETC): $5800
Oh yeah, and did I mention that our monthly health insurance payments are more than our mortgage?
I don't know what the answer is, but it scares the hell out of me.

That is why we don't have insurance. Of course I seek alternative medicine but it would be nice to have something that covered ER.
I am so thrilled that you and your family are on the mend and getting healthier each day.
My political rant, Government run healthcare funded by raising taxes is not the answer!
